MAN:   I see. Was he OK?

GIRL:   Oh, yes!

1

MAN:   Who are the two boys who are making the snowman?

GIRL:   I only know one of them – Robert. He’s got an arm for the snowman in his hand.

MAN:   Is he someone in your family too?

GIRL:   No. I met him there. He stayed at the same hotel.

MAN:   Is that a lake on the right of the picture?

GIRL:   Yes, and there’s my older sister, Katy.

MAN:   But isn’t that a boy?

MAN:   Oh, I see now.

MAN:   Oh.

4

MAN:   What a lot of snow!

GIRL:   Yes! I had lots of fun there. We all did. Can you see the woman who’s pulling the sledge? That’s my mother. She’s got blonde hair.

MAN:   I see. What’s her name?

GIRL:   I call her Mum, but her first name’s Betty.

5

MAN:   And who’s the person who’s skiing down the mountain … the one with the green gloves?
