GIRL: It’s stolen that woman’s sandwich.
MAN: That’s right. Can you colour the bird?
GIRL: Shall I colour it yellow?
MAN: Yes, that’s fine.

MAN: Can you see the empty table?
GIRL: Yes, I can. There aren’t any people sitting there.
MAN: OK. Just colour the top of it blue, but don’t do the legs!
GIRL: All right. I’ve done it.

MAN: Can you see the two children?
GIRL: Yes. Shall I colour the child on the swing?
MAN: No. Look at the child who’s pushing the swing. Colour her skirt red.
GIRL: OK. I’ll do that now.

MAN: I’d like you to write something now. Can you see the café?
GIRL: Yes. There’s a kind of board above the door.
MAN: That’s right. Write the word ‘Spoon’ in the space.

MAN: Yes, of course. Look at the woman.
GIRL: Which one? The one inside who’s carrying some cups?
MAN: No, the one who’s sitting with her family and drinking tea.
GIRL: What shall I draw?
MAN: Draw some spots on her dress and colour them green.

GIRL: Can I colour one of the newspapers now?
MAN: OK. Colour the one in the bin.
GIRL: Shall I colour it grey?
MAN: Yes, that’s fine. Look, you’ve finished now.

GIRL: Yes. Can I colour his space trousers?

MAN: Yes! Good idea! Colour the one which is next to the man with the camera.
GIRL: OK. And can I choose the colour this time?
MAN: Yes, all right!
GIRL: I’ll use green, then.

MAN: Yes, there are. Colour the one next to the star. No, sorry, colour the one that’s got a kind of ring.
GIRL: Which colour must I use?
MAN: Let’s colour it yellow. Do you agree?

GIRL: And can I draw something on this picture too?
MAN: Yes. Draw a plate on the ground between the two rocks. Can you do that?
GIRL: Yes. I’ll draw a small, round one. Shall I colour it too?
MAN: Yes, please. Make it blue.
GIRL: All right. I’ll do that now.
MAN: Good.

MAN: Would you like to write something in this picture too?
GIRL: Oh, yes. I like writing. What can I write?
MAN: The rocket hasn’t got a name. We must give it one.
GIRL: OK. What name shall we write on it?
MAN: Write ‘Wings’ on it. That’s a great name for a rocket. Write it in the stripe.
GIRL: All right. I’ll do that now.

MAN: We should colour one more thing now. How about the strange bird in the cage?
GIRL: All right. Did it come with the astronauts?
MAN: Yes. It came with them from our world. Make it red.
GIRL: Can I colour it brown? That’s a better colour, I think.
